The 2020 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) will be held on 8 November 2020, hosted by girl group Little Mix. Like their American counterpart this year, the performances for this year's show will be filmed in various locations across Europe such as Budapest and London due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Lady Gaga has the most nominations this year with 7, followed by BTS and Justin Bieber with 5 nominations. There are also 3 new nomination categories, Best Latin, Video for Good and a one-off category, Best Virtual Live, in light of the pandemic.
